Step-by-Step Guide: Adding Your Google Drive Video Links to Your Malloy Portfolio

Step 1: Complete Your Editor Profile

Before adding your Google Drive links, you need to set up your editor profile. Fill in the following required and optional fields:

• (Required) Portfolio URL: https://portfolio.malloy.sg/[yourhandle] (Replace [yourhandle] with your desired URL to preview how your portfolio will appear.)

• (Required) Upload a profile picture.

• (Required) Enter your name.

• (Optional) Write a short bio about yourself as a video editor.

• (Required) Select at least one video editing niche (e.g., documentary, commercials, YouTube videos).

• (Required) Specify your country.

• (Optional) List the languages you speak.

• (Optional) Select the video editing software you specialize in (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, CapCut).

• (Optional) Add links to your social media accounts so clients can connect with you.

Step 2: Add Videos to Your Portfolio

Once your profile is complete, the long-form video and short-form video sections will be available. Choose the appropriate option:

• Click "Add Long-Form Video" if you're showcasing a 16:9 content.

• Click "Add Short-Form Video" if you're uploading 9:16 content.

Step 3: Upload Video Details & Google Drive Link

Fill in the required information to upload your video:

1. Thumbnail

   • Prepare and upload a 16:9 thumbnail for long-form videos.

   • Prepare and upload a 9:16 thumbnail for short-form videos.

2. Add Your Google Drive Link

   

   • Upload your MP4 video file to Google Drive.

   

   • Once uploaded, click on "Share" in your Google Drive folder.

   • Return to nexus.malloy.sg and paste the link into the appropriate field.

3. Choose a Category

   • Select at least one category that best represents your video (e.g., podcast, faceless content, commercials).

Step 4: Repeat for Additional Videos

Step 5: Preview Your Portfolio
